Welcome, Autumn!

It's officially autumn! Yay! This could be my favorite time of year... but I say the same about the springtime too! Since the temperature has cooled down a bit, we've had a chance to enjoy things outside... camping, fishing, the zoo, the park, and some good ole playing in our own backyard! The kids are loving it!

Here are a few pics from a day of fishing & hanging out on the tailgate of the truck (turkey-calling):

Wilson started MDO two days a week, and he absolutely LOVES it! He asks almost every day "do I have school today?" even though he knows he only gets to go on Tuesday & Thursday. He has learned so much at school and seems to be growing up so fast! He can write some letters now, and recognizes all letters and numbers. He loves to write the letter W... because he knows it "spells Wilson". He brings home some great art projects each day, and always gets good reports from his teacher. She tells us that he is a "joy" to have in her class! He apparently saves all of his "misbehaving" to share with us at home :) This reminds me of a little girl I used to know!

Isabella just celebrated her 2nd birthday "Tinkerbell-style". This year Brigid & I decided to let the girls (Isabella & Audrey) celebrate their birthday parties together, since their b-days are just 2 days apart & we invite pretty much the same guests. It was a successful party at the park, complete with awesome weather, yummy pizza, and beautiful tinkerbell cakes!

Isabella is talking non-stop, in complete sentences, and keeping up with her big brother. She absolutely adores Wilson! So sweet! They are always together, except when Wilson is at school (Isabella loves those days spent with mommy & daddy!). She can still be quite a handful, and is still a total mommy's girl... but she is becoming more independent every day. She's a pro at ignoring us when she wants to (Micheal says she's stubborn!). But she's as sweet as pie when she wants to be! The cutest thing is that she says "I LOVE IT!" with so much enthusiasm! At her birthday party she said "I love it!" each time she opened a gift. It makes you feel so good! And this sweet little girl is really lovin' some "girly" stuff these days.. Barbies, baby dolls and princesses! But she still enjoys some Star Wars lightsaber fights with her brother ;)
