That's what this nursery is made of. We have finally made enough progress on the nursery to actually take pictures. This is a huge accomplishment for us, and has taken quite a while! Our little helper Wilson sometimes makes it difficult to finish what we've started... We finally finished painting the crown moulding, painted the dresser, and hung some decorations on the walls. We still have some things remaining to do, but I feel like it's "liveable" now for our sweet little one. And almost all the laundry is washed and semi-organized now in the drawers & closet! Way to go Mullens!!!

This week's pics...
We had a busy and fun week!
It all started out on Sunday, we went to Nana's 92nd Birthday party! Can you believe how good she looks? And she's still sharp, too! Wilson loves Nana, and of course the feeling is mutual. And here's a cute picture of Wilson giving "sugars" to Granddaddy (aka: daddy-daa).

Then, on Tuesday Wilson just looked SO darn cute, we HAD to take a few pictures of him playing around in the driveway...

Of course, Wednesday was Micheal's birthday! We didn't get any pictures, because we both worked & it was a pretty busy day. We did celebrate by going out for dinner... and Wilson even let Daddy have pineapple up-side-down cake for dessert! What a sweet boy!
And now today is Friday... the end of our work-week. Micheal had a busy day out working, but was so grateful that the weather has been much more tolerable this week! And Wilson helped me in Isabella's nursery today. We finished painting her dresser and even hung a couple of things on her walls. Pictures will come later!
I'm not going to say "I told you so"... BUT, Wilson loves his baby doll!

A decade...
That's how long Micheal & I have been together. Hard to believe, huh? Yep, ten years ago today was our first date. No, we're not total dorks who remember and celebrate each & every milestone in life. This one is just easy to remember because our first date was on the night before Micheal's 21st birthday. Oh, and it's also memorable because of the whole "life changing" thing of falling in love, etc.

My baby doll...

Looking back...
So there's officially 7 weeks left until our sweet little girl arrives. I'm a little nervous due to the fact that Wilson is just slightly attached to me (like he wants "Momma" all the time.) Not to say he doesn't love his Daddy, too... because he certainly loves his Daddy. He just REALLY loves his Mommy! It'll be interesting to see what happens once Mommy & Daddy have a little baby around!! I'm suspecting lots of jealousy.
Anyhow, I was just sitting here this morning (while Wilson & Micheal are BOTH still asleep) thinking about how precious those first few days of Wilson's life were. Really those first couple of weeks. I just remember looking at him in amazement every single second. I just could not believe that my child, who has been in my belly for 9 months, was finally here. And perfect! It's truly a miracle of God. I always knew that... but not like I know it now.
I just wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures of Wilson as a newborn... to get me "in the mood" for Isabella's arrival. So here's a "Look back" at Wilson...
