What a SLACKER!

WOW! I have been a total slacker on this blog recently! Time is flying by!

Isabella had her 4 month check-up this week... Yes, she is FOUR months old already! She weighed in at a whopping 15 pounds & 8 ounces (85th percentile) and was 24 3/4 inches long (75th percentile). What a little chunk! She has really become a happy little girl, and loves to squeal with delight. So cute! She reaches out for her toys now and loves to hold and cuddle with her lovie-bear her "aunt" Marguerite gave her. Finally, she has begun to sleep better at night... we still get up 1 or 2 times a night for a little snack... but it's a drastic improvement compared to just a few weeks ago! Way to go, babydoll!

Wilson is growing up just as fast as ever. He's a little stinker... and knows how to get what he wants. His big thing now is telling us he's "Mommy's boy" or "Daddy's boy"... but he conveniently changes it depending on WHO is asking him the question. He still loves his "babydoll" and tries to get her to play with him. The other day I was snapping a few pictures of her and he climbed onto the chair to pose with her. Before I knew it he was holding her hand up showing her how to give him a "high five". It was very sweet! He loves to hold her in his lap (for about 5 seconds, then pushes her away) and loves to give her hugs & kisses. He also loves to color with markers, likes Elmo, and is quite proud of his new jumping skills!

He also likes to drive her around in his car!

Oh, and part of the huge tree in our front yard came crashing down on of Micheal's truck, trailer, & equipment (in other words, his entire business!)... now that's just one BIG headache! Fortunately, his more expensive landscaping equipment was not on the trailer. Usually his 2 big mowers are always on the trailer, but for some odd reason he took them off the day before this happened! And, no one was outside. Had this happened the previous day, the mowers would have been crushed... and we would have been out playing in the driveway with both kids and my dad. God was watching over us!
