I can hardly believe this boy is TWO!
It seems like yesterday I was pregnant with him and wondering what he was going to look like, act like, what kind of child he was going to be. He is such a blessing in our lives. He is definitely full of energy, and everyone says he is "all boy". I've figured out that is the polite way of saying "oh my, your child certainly is a rambunctious little devil!"But underneath the energetic, wild-child is a sweet, precious, polite little angel. He loves mommy & daddy and his baby sister. He will stop in the middle of playing with his toys and go over to Isabella and kiss her. And he says "please" and "thank you" without being told. He goes down for bed without a fight and sleeps 12 hours straight. When he wakes up in the morning the very first thing he does is ask me "Is Isabella awake?" and then "Is Isabella happy?" He gives the best hugs & kisses in the whole wide world. And he is "mommy's boy" or "daddy's boy" or "Memaw's boy" or "Nonna's boy" or "Isabella's boy" depending on WHO is asking him!
Now I can not remember what life was like before our little guy came along! What did I do with ALL that free time?!
Wilson's big 2nd birthday was on the 12th... and his party was on the 16th. I've been quite busy these past 2 weeks, and am just now getting around to posting. The big b-day gift from mommy & daddy was this cool playset for the backyard! Daddy spent several hours after work, in the dark putting it together, too! He's such a wonderful daddy! Doesn't it look GREAT?
Good thing Isabella enjoys swinging outside, too!
She's a little daddy's girl... Isn't this priceless?
The big "event" lately (other than the b-day) was that Micheal's mom (Memaw) flew in from sunny Florida to hang out with us for Wilson's big party weekend. Well, it was her birthday too! We couldn't think of a better birthday gift than for her to be able to spend the weekend with BOTH of her boys! That's right, we flew Micheal's brother Steven in from Arkansas for the weekend as a surprise for Memaw! She had no clue, and they both showed up at the airport to pick her up! I wish I could have been there to see the look on her face!
